About Us
DOYOUBIKE RENTAL is the bike rental and experiences division of DOYOUBIKE, a project founded in Valencia with a very clear goal: to make cycling accessible to everyone and to show that getting around the city by bike is easy, healthy, and fun.
Our story began in Benimaclet (Valencia) in 2004, founded by Alberto Laurín and Pablo Alcañíz. What started as a small shop with just a few rental bikes has grown over the years into a leading business that combines rentals, sales, and a repair shop, with a physical location in Valencia and an online store.
Our Story: From a Dream Among Friends to a Life's Work
After a trip through Latin America, two friends with a passion for cycling and the outdoors decided to turn their dream into a reality. Valencia was changing: a city increasingly open to international tourism, flat, with a wonderful climate, and perfect for getting around by bike. It was in this context that DOYOUBIKE was born, with a simple goal: to help more and more people experience the city on two wheels.
The response was immediate. Visitors to Valencia were looking for rental bikes to explore the city, and locals began asking for repairs, accessories, and parts as well. We naturally developed three lines of business that remain at the heart of the project: rental, sales, and repair services.
What is DOYOUBIKE RENTAL?
DOYOUBIKE RENTAL was created to bring all that experience to the world of bike rentals and cycling adventures. We have a large fleet of bikes and take a very practical approach: we want renting to be easy, the bike to be in top condition, and for you to enjoy Valencia with complete freedom.
In addition to bike rentals, we also offer cycling tours and help organize guided tours and cycling events. Our goal has been the same since day one: to make the bicycle the centerpiece of a different way of experiencing the city.

3 stores in Valencia: real support throughout your experience
Over time, we opened three stores in Valencia (Avenida del Puerto, Calle del Mar, and Calle de la Sangre) and launched our online store. For DOYOUBIKE RENTAL customers, this offers a direct benefit: a local presence and support. We’re not just a “faceless” website—we’re a team based in Valencia, with physical stores and real-world operations.
