About us
DOYOUBIKE RENTAL is the bicycle rental and experience division of DOYOUBIKE, a project born in Valencia with a very clear idea: to bring bicycles to everyone and show that getting around the city by bike is easy, healthy, and fun.
Our story begins in Benimaclet (Valencia) in 2004, founded by Alberto Laurín and Pablo Alcañíz. What started with a small shop and a few rental bikes has grown over the years to become a leading project combining rental, sales, and repair services, with a physical presence in Valencia and an online store.
Our story: from a dream among friends to a life project
After a trip through Latin America, two friends who were passionate about cycling and outdoor life decided to turn their dream into a real project. Valencia was changing: a city increasingly open to international tourism, flat, with a privileged climate, and perfect for getting around by bike. In this context, DOYOUBIKE was born, with a simple goal: to get more and more people to experience the city on two wheels.
The response was immediate. Visitors to Valencia were looking for rental bikes to discover the city, and local residents also began to ask for repairs, accessories, and components. We naturally developed three lines of work that remain at the heart of the project: rental, sales, and repair.
What is DOYOUBIKE RENTAL?
DOYOUBIKE RENTAL was created to bring all that experience to the field of bike rentals and experiences. We have a large fleet of bikes and work with a very practical approach: to make renting easy, to ensure the bike is ready to go, and to allow you to enjoy Valencia with freedom.
In addition to rentals, we also offer cycling tours and help organize guided routes and cycling events. Our goal has remained the same since day one: to make bicycles the centerpiece of a different way of experiencing the city.

3 stores in Valencia: real support during your experience
Over time, we opened three stores in Valencia (Avenida del Puerto, Calle del Mar, and Calle de la Sangre) and launched our online store. For DOYOUBIKE RENTAL customers, this has a direct advantage: local presence and support. We are not a "faceless" website: we are a team in Valencia, with stores and real operations.

From day one, we knew that bicycles are much more than just a means of transportation or a piece of sports equipment. For us, they are a tool for transformation: they help reduce emissions, relieve traffic congestion in cities, improve health, and promote a more peaceful and sustainable way of life.
That is why we advocate for more user-friendly urban mobility and support initiatives that promote cycling in all its forms: urban, recreational, and competitive.
